HOW OUR RENTALS WORK:

Book online, then pick up your fully-charged E-bike at the Lake Wobegon Trailhead in Avon, MN.


When booking, choose any arrival time. We're open and on site 10 AM -4 PM.

SUN-CHARGED AND TRAIL-READY

SunCycles operates from a mobile trailer designed to make renting easy. Our solar-supported trailer carries fully charged E-bikes, helmets, and gear so you can arrive, check in, and start riding in minutes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Yes, it is a flat rate. 
    We're open and on site 10 AM -4 PM.


    How it works: Reserve for any arrival time- the only commitment is simple: be back by 4:00 PM.

  • No. If you can ride a bike, you can ride an E-bike. We'll help you get started.  

  • Suggestions: water bottle, sunscreen, light jacket-dress for the weather.


    Items included with your rental: Helmet, bike lock, rack with bike trunk

  • Yes. You must agree to our Terms & Conditions waiver at the time of pickup.

  • Yes.

    *    Riders must be 18 or older to rent

    *All riders must be a minimum of 15 years old per Minnesota state law

    *Riders under 18 must be accompanied by a renting adult

  • Day Pass Rental—$65

    How it works: No strict start time. We are open 10 AM-4 PM. Just show up when you're ready. Once you're on the bike, the only commitment is simple: be back by 4:00 PM. Flexible start. Fixed return. Everything in between is yours.

    Book online to pick up your E-bike rental at the Lake Wobegon trailhead in Avon, MN at the parking lot near the observation tower.

  • It is highly recommended.
    While walk-in rentals are available, we highly recommend making a reservation in advance.  Reserving an E-bike in advance expedites the rental process at the time of your ride.

  • Yes. Helmets are included with your E-bike rental. You may use the helmet provided or bring your own. Riding with a helmet is required. 

  • No. We don't allow attaching child carrier trailers to our E-bikes.

The Lake Wobegon trailhead parking lot in Avon, MN, near the observation tower.

10 am - 4 pm, every Saturday and Sunday from mid-May through mid-October.
